Mark Melvin Scholarship Recipient

The Northeastern PA Chapter of the CPCU Society is please to announce that Tyler Emmerich has been selected as the recipient of the Mark Melvin Memorial Scholarship.  Tyler will begin his CPCU studies this year, with the goal to complete the designation by 2017.  He is currently employed as an account executive at Hawk Insurance Agency.  Please take a moment to congratulate Tyler and wish him well in his pursuit of the designation.

2014 Mark Melvin Memorial Scholarship

The NEPA CPCU Society recently awarded the Mark Melvin Memorial Scholarship to Old Forge Senior, Troy Benson.

Troy was selected for the $500 scholarship using the following criteria:

•Graduating High School student
•Grade Average Minimum of B+
•College Curriculum: Two or four year school pursuing a career in business
•Preference will be given to a student who has taken any insurance related courses or has worked part time in an insurance agency or company
