Workshop: Achieving Your Potential as Insurance Sales and Service Professionals

06/06/14 8:30am to 4:30pm
1120 Hwy 315
Plains,PA 18702

The Northeastern CPCU Society has contracted with Richard Coskren, CPCU, owner and CEO of with Polestar Perforance Programs,to provide a half-day workshop on sales and service for insurance professionals.  This workshop will be especially relevant for Agents/Producers but would have value for Account Reps/CSR's, Production Underwriters and insurance professionals in general. Each registrant will recieve a copy of High Payoff Selling, reading this book in advance would serve as pre-work for those attending the workshop as the text contains the essential elements of the Polestar sales model.

High-Payoff Selling: Being Visible and Viable in the New Insurance Market is not a compilation of sales and service theories. Rather, it is a collection of tools you can apply to systematically succeed in both your professional and personal life.

Upon completing this workshop, participants will be prepared to:

  • embrace their primary purpose as insurance professionals, regardless of role
  • understand and react to the changing insurance environment
  • set and achieve personal and professional goals
  • execute a personal organization methodology that "gets the right things done"
  • understand the benefit of specialization/differentiation and be better prepared to do so
  • create and execute a personal marketing plan
  • define and execute a "value added service" approach to sales and service
  • improve close ratios by routinely and proactively generating referrals
  • flex their style to achieve results

The discounted price for members is $50, non-members also welcome $60.  Please share this information with your company or agency and plan to attend!

Email NEPACPCU@yahoo.com to reserve your spot.  The workshop will be held at The Cafe in Wilkes-Barre, see venue tab for details.
