Please join us for a night out at The Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, January 21st. We will be enjoying a production of "Forever Plaid".
Written by Stuart Ross and opening Off-Broadway in 1990, “Forever Plaid” has won over audiences worldwide. More of a revue than a traditional play, “Forever Plaid” tells the story of members of a vocal group that were killed in a car accident, but are allowed to return for one final show before ascending to heaven.
All you really need to do is sit back and listen to the wonderful songs from the 1950's: "Moments to Remember" and "No Not Much" among the showstoppers. There are even tributes to The Ed Sullivan Show and The Perry Como Show found here.
It's all in fun, it's all in nostalgia, but more importantly, it's only $18. The show starts at 8PM. We may plan to meet at a local spot prior to the show to enjoy drinks and conversation with the group, details to follow for those interested. Non-CPCU's are welcome, bring whomever you would like.
Please email NEPACPCU@yahoo.com prior to 1/6/11 with the number in your group, tickets are limited.
